Following the adoption of the EU Toy Safety Regulation (EU) 2025/2509 by the European Parliament on December 11, 2025, its publication on December 12, 2025, and entry into force on January 1, 2026, a 4.5-year transition period is in place while Directive 2009/48/EC remains active. This regulation enhances uniformity, child protection, and introduces the Digital Product Passport (DPP).
